Wibax donates an ambulance for war victims in Ukraine

In collaboration with Garage 104, Wibax is donating an ambulance to aid victims of the war in Ukraine. Garage 104 works with emergency healthcare for events, and will now bring an ambulance full of supplies to Ukraine. We hope that this contribution will be helpful to Ukranians in need.

Wibax continues to closely monitor and respond to the ongoing situation associated with the Russia-Ukraine war. Wibax hopes for a quick end to this war and a stop to the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe. The safety and health of our employees and partners are our top priority, as well as continuing to supply our customers. Since Wibax is operating on the Nordic market, we are not in direct connection with any of the conflict areas, but the conflict will affect the logistics flow globally and we are all part of that network in one way or another.

Unique collaboration provides chargers for heavy vehicles

In 2022, a charging site for heavy vehicles will be completed in Skelleftehamn. This investment is supported by a unique collaborative effort between stakeholders working to promote and accelerate the electrification of heavy logistics in the Skellefteå region. The goal is to ensure that more logistics operations will be able to rely on renewable energy.

Simon Hedin appointed to the Future Board

Simon Hedin, business developer at Wibax, has been appointed to Framtidsstyrelsen (the Future Board), a group of 14 young managers/experts from various businesses among IKEM's member companies. The group will be having regular meetings over a two-year period to discuss current events, they will focus on challenges faced in their field of business, and areas that are growing steadily more important, such as climate change and the environment, and changes in public opinion.
