Green Party MEP Jakop Dalunde visits Wibax
The news of Wibax' electric truck has reached Brussels and generated particular interest in Wibax. On Thursday, September 25, Swedish Green Party MEP Jakop Dalunde, and his colleagues Yasmin and Linnea, visited us. Elin Söderberg, parliamentary candidate for the Greens in Norrbotten and Västerbotten, also participated, as well as the local leader of the Green Party council group in Piteå, Mats Dahlberg.

Reform the Swedish Environmental Code
The environmental assessment inquiry that presented its results on June 14 had the goal to review current provisions for environmental assessment, in order to establish modernised and more efficient environmental assessment procedures, favourable to the green transition. Unfortunately, Wibax and IKEM believe that the suggestions presented as part of the inquiry are unlikely to lead to any significant changes to permit processes, as a fundamental problem remains: the fact that provisions of the code are subject to interpretation by single individuals, and to some extent influenced by personal convictions.

Wibax Group has continued to be rated high in EcoVadis assessment and rating of business sustainability work, where Wibax again in 2022 have been awarded a gold medal.
EcoVadis assesses and rates companies' policies, routines, and actions related to the environment, work and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
