WiPLEX

Wiplex is one of Wibax’ 150 products. A complexing agent that reduces the use of other chemicals. 

Complexing agents are important in the paper industry for achieving a more efficient bleaching process that also reduces environmental impact. 

In the production of bleached pulp, WiPlex is used to bind metal ions and prevent them from interfering with the bleaching process itself. By removing disruptive metals, fewer chemicals are needed – which reduces both costs and environmental impact.

Wiplex is used, among other things, in the peroxide bleaching of pulp and in detergents and cleaning agents. Other applications include water softening and the inactivation of metal ions that can break down the active chemicals in various process steps.
