Wibax have invested in Sweden’s first 74-ton truck for transportation of bio-oils

Wibax has now commissioned a new efficient and environmentally friendly tanker for traffic along the Norrland coast. It is on route between Husum in the south to Kalix in the north that the transport department has granted the company an exemption application. The exemption covers transportation by a 15% higher payload than the present rules allow. The vehicle may carry up to 74 tons total weight; this is good for the industry and the environment. In addition, we plan to drive the vehicle on 100% HVO, renewable fuel. The project is a development project to demonstrate the potential for more efficient transportation for tanker transportation.

WIBAX investing in a new terminal in Gävle

WIBAX has invested in a terminal operation in Skutskär/Gävle, which was previously owned by Baltic Tank/KS-Terminal. The terminal was taken over on 3 March 2015.

Wibax’s production plant in Piteå

One of WIBAX's objectives is to increase turnover to SEK 1 billion within a couple of years, which will require focused initiatives from all WIBAX units and companies. One are of focus is to increase the percentage of products manufactured in-house. Over the years, WIBAX has extended its product portfolio with several products manufactured in-house, and work is continuing on further developing the business.
