Peter Hammarberg will start as the new CEO of Wibax Finland on January 1st, 2026. At the same time, Wibax says farewell to Tero V\u00e4yrynen, who has decided to retire after five years as Wibax Finland\u2019s CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jonas Wiklund, CEO of Wibax Group, is looking forward to seeing the company grow further in the Finnish market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Tero has played an important role in our development, and we want to thank him for his engaging leadership and the valuable work he has contributed. He will be missed both as a person and as a colleague. At the same time, I am very excited to begin working together with Peter as the new CEO in Finland. Over the past five years, we have grown significantly in Finland, and strong cooperation between us is crucial for continued good growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hammarberg joins Wibax from Europak Oy, where he also worked as the CEO. He has already familiarized himself with the Wibax spirit and new Swedish and Finnish colleagues during the personnel conference in November. Hammarberg officially takes up the role of CEO on January 1st.
\u2013 It\u2019s a great honor to take over after Tero’s hard work and continue to develop Wibax Finland and its subsidiaries. In 2026, we\u2019ll put extra emphasis on expanding our product range and working even closer with our customers. I\u2019m really looking forward to becoming a part of the Wibax family and, together with my colleagues, continue our journey on the successful path we are currently on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Hammarberg takes over the role of CEO, Wibax wants to thank the outgoing CEO Tero V\u00e4yrynen for his outstanding service. During V\u00e4yrynen’s tenure, Wibax Finland’s operations have undergone strong growth and the number of employees has more than doubled. Today, the workforce in Finland totals 70 people.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to strong leadership that has enabled increased growth, V\u00e4yrynen’s career at Wibax has included several significant projects. Under his leadership, Finland’s first ADR-approved electric truck was launched as part of the Wibax transport fleet. Recently, the company also expanded its terminal area in Hamina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was also under V\u00e4yrynen’s leadership that the transport company JJ-kuljetus in Finland was acquired, strengthening Wibax’s position in the market and enabling Wibax to offer its customers in Finland the entire supply chain \u2013 from sales to storage and delivery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
