The air we breath is affected by human activity. Good Chemistry sets requirements for reducing emissions into the air as much as possible, especially from transport and combustion. These are two of the biggest human-generated sources of impact on the air and the climate.
One way in which to cut these emissions is to use additives that reduce the emission of nitrogen oxides from vehicles with diesel engines.
Another way is to replace fossil fuels with bioenergy wherever possible. Vegetable oils are part of the natural cycle and do not add any carbon dioxide to the atmosphere.
