A base in the north – market in Europe
Wibax has its head office in Piteå, though with installations, terminals and service at a number of locations in Sweden. The market is Europe. Our raw materials purchases are made globally.
Operations consist of the production, development, import, sale, storage and distribution primarily of liquid chemical products and of salts.

The first decade of the century has seen a strong development characterised by the production of our own specialised products. They have usually been implemented in customers' companies via applications with individual customer adaptations.
Wibax has been acquiring an ever-greater role as a problem-solver and process-developer within the base industry. The company's own products together with its know-how now represent its most important business areas.

Techniques developed by Wibax have resulted in improvements in industrial processes and therefore savings in energy and raw materials. The result for the customer is higher yields, the elimination of production bottlenecks and improved overall economy.
Research and development are prioritised within the company. Development work is aimed at solving strategic problems in specific applications in close collaboration with our customers – an area in which Wibax sees considerable opportunity for development.
